Chief Flight Instructor Airbus – SAS Scandinavia
SAS Scandinavia invites applications for the position of Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) Airbus within the SAS Crew Training organization. This pivotal leadership role oversees all Airbus type-related flight training, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will join the SAS Crew Training / STOOL Operational Management Team and serve as the designated authority for the SAS Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive oversight for all Airbus type-related flight training activities within SAS Scandinavia.

Balance strategic responsibilities with hands-on operational leadership in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Ensure full compliance with SAS Scandinavia OM-D 0.7.5, SAS ATO Manual 0.3.1.1, and EASA regulation 210.

Lead, mentor, and develop training personnel to maintain rigorous training standards.

Allocate time between administrative leadership (75%) and operational pilot duties (25%).
Candidate Requirements

Extensive training experience in accordance with EASA regulation 210, including a minimum of 500 hours of instructional flying on a relevant aircraft type.

Must be an active pilot on a SAS-relevant Airbus aircraft type.

Fluency in both English and one Scandinavian language.

Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
