Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years of work experience within the service industry.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in food and beverage service, encompassing roles from fast food to banquets, conferences, or traditional waiter/waitress positions.
- Training in hospitality, cooking, or wine is considered an advantageous asset.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew is a significant advantage.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Height must be between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).
- Completion of education at a minimum level of high school or equivalent is required.
- Fluent proficiency in the English language (Berlitz level B2 or equivalent, minimum B).
- Strong swimming skills are essential.
- Ability to comply with uniform regulations.
- Visible tattoos are permitted below the neck, excluding the hands and chest. One small, discreet tattoo, not exceeding 1.5 cm, is acceptable on the hand and behind the ear (not extending onto the back of the head or neck).
- Possession of a valid EU passport granting unrestricted worldwide travel.
- Eligibility to live and work permanently in Denmark.
Security and Health Requirements
- Employment is contingent upon passing a security interview and background check for access cards.
- Successful completion of an approved training course is mandatory.
- Candidates must meet SAS' established requirements for cabin crew.
- Good physical and mental health, including vision correctable to 0.7 (with or without aids), is necessary. A health certificate compliant with EASA Regulations is required.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol tests (blood and urine samples) prior to the course commencement.
- Due to the nature of the work within a secure airport area, an exhaustive police certificate and approval from aviation authorities are required.

A solution-oriented mindset, the ability to identify opportunities, and the capacity for improvisation while adhering to established routines and procedures are key to ensuring each flight is exceptional and memorable.

Recruitment Journey
The recruitment process involves several stages to ensure the selection of highly qualified candidates. Initial courses for this position are scheduled from October 2025 to Spring 2026. - Online Assessment: Selected applicants will complete a digital video interview addressing pre-set questions.
- Assessment Center: Successful candidates will be invited to an assessment day.
- Pre-employment Checks: This stage includes reference checks, criminal record verification, security clearance, medical examination, and drug/alcohol testing.
- Cabin Crew Training: Upon successful completion of all preceding requirements, candidates will undertake a comprehensive 4-week training program designed to prepare them for their career as cabin crew.
