The Role of a Cabin Crew Member
Cabin Crew Members are pivotal in delivering a top-class safety and customer service experience to all Ryanair Group guests. This dynamic and rewarding position demands a high degree of adaptability and resilience, as duties include operating both early and late shifts. Reporting for duty can commence as early as 5 AM for morning rosters, with afternoon shifts potentially concluding at midnight. Training and Professional Development
The journey to becoming a fully qualified Cabin Crew member begins with a comprehensive 6-week training course. This intensive program equips individuals with all the fundamental skills required for the role, covering crucial safety procedures and customer service excellence. The course involves regular examinations and culminates in Supernumerary flights, leading to the prestigious Cabin Crew Wings. Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety and security for all passengers and crew members on board.
- Delivering exceptional customer service with a positive and proactive "can-do" attitude throughout all phases of flight.
- Operating effectively within a fixed 5-day on / 3-day off roster pattern, including early morning and late evening shifts.
- Actively participating in and successfully completing a rigorous 6-week training program, including theoretical study, practical assessments, and Supernumerary flights.
Candidate Requirements
- Applicants must hold the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and/or possess the ability to travel freely throughout the Ryanair Network.
- Candidates must be approximately between 157 cm (5’2”) and 188 cm (6’2”) in height.
- The ability to swim 25 meters unaided, and to support another person in the water, is essential.
- A hardworking, flexible, and outgoing personality, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, is highly valued.
- Demonstrated adaptability to working a demanding shift roster.
- A passion for dealing with the public and a proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English is required, with successful completion of an English Language Assessment.
- A genuine passion for travel and meeting diverse individuals from various backgrounds.
