Pilot in Command - Learjet 35/55/60 and Falcon 20/50
Royal Air Freight Inc. (Royal Air Charter), a Part 135 Air Carrier based in Waterford, MI (KPTK), is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates to join its passenger service operations. The ideal candidate will reside within a one-hour call-out time of the base location or be willing to relocate.
Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations, the Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft and passengers onboard, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and efficient flight conduct.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including procedures, limitations, and performance standards specific to the aircraft type.
- Maintain continuous and independent checks of the aircraft's geographical position and terrain clearance.
- Execute flight plans and SOPs in accordance with regulations.
- Communicate instructions, information, and advice to the crew to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
- Seek and receive written and verbal information from dispatch, the Chief Pilot, or DOO to fulfill the duty of conducting a safe and efficient flight.
- Report safety concerns, irregularities, incidents, and accidents to the Chief Pilot and DOO.
- Review and revise onboard aircraft manuals to ensure currency and availability.
- Assist with aircraft loading and unloading when necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:

Minimum Requirements:
- Commercial Pilot certificate
- Multi-engine and instrument ratings
- 3,000 hours total time (TT)
- 250 hours jet time
- US Citizenship
- Valid US passport and driver's license
- Ability to pass a security background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Preferred Requirements:
- 4,500+ hours TT
- 1,000+ hours jet time
- Lear 35/55/60 PIC type rating
- Falcon 20/50 PIC type rating
- 250 hours in type rating
- Previous Part 91 or Part 135 experience
