Riyadh Air seeks a dedicated professional to lead strategic planning and daily execution of pilot scheduling and resource allocation. This critical role involves designing frameworks that ensure every flight is crewed by qualified, legally compliant, and well-rested pilots, meticulously balancing General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and international aviation standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing optimized pilot pairings, developing compliant crew rosters, and planning training schedules in close coordination with Flight Operations, Training, and Operations Control Center (OCC) teams. This work will contribute to achieving operational efficiency, prioritizing pilot well-being, implementing advanced fatigue risk management principles, and ensuring regulatory compliance, all while supporting the seamless continuity of flight operations.
Crucially, this position demands close collaboration with Network Planning and Scheduling teams to assess the impact of flight schedules on crew resources, proactively identify operational risks, and devise mitigation strategies to minimize disruption-related delays. As a subject matter expert, the Specialist will also contribute to long-term manpower forecasting, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives across the airline's planning functions. Furthermore, the role includes developing and managing both long-term and short-term Flight Crew recurrent training programs in partnership with the Training Department. The ideal candidate will hold a degree and possess a minimum of four years of experience in Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling, or Manpower Resource Planning within a commercial airline environment.
