First Officer Position at Republic Airways

Republic Airways, a leading North American regional airline, seeks a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer to join our dynamic team. This crucial role supports the Captain in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Embraer 170/175 aircraft fleet. Responsibilities:

Actively participate in pre-flight planning, utilizing all relevant weather data and adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies.
Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness in accordance with FARs and company standards.
Collaborate with the Captain to ensure accurate flight planning and fuel calculations, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.
Operate the aircraft safely and efficiently throughout the assigned duty period, following the Captain's instructions and adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, FARs, company manuals, policies, and procedures.
Inform crew and passengers of any weather-related turbulence or operational factors affecting the flight.
Complete accurate load manifests for each flight.
Contribute to on-time performance by assisting the Captain in meeting all reporting, departure, and turnaround times.
Provide assistance with aircraft handling, passenger service, baggage, and cargo management at the terminal.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance, adhering to company protocols.
Present a professional appearance, maintaining adherence to the company's uniform standards.
Conduct oneself professionally at all times, observing company's Rules of Conduct as detailed in relevant documentation.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and performance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Company and the Captain.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Meets minimum requirements for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP (RATP) certificate. ATP written examination preferred.
Fulfillment of current FAA and company minimum age and flight hour requirements for interview and hiring. Candidates meeting interview minimums but not hiring minimums will be considered for hire upon successful completion of the interview process, contingent on meeting hiring minimums within six months, maintaining a clean certificate record, and no criminal record since the interview date. Acceptance of a class date within six months of the interview date is also required.
Prior customer service experience, particularly within the aviation industry, is highly desirable.
