About the Role

Rex Airlines (Regional Express), Australia's largest independent regional airline, is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as full-time Solo Flight Attendants based in Wagga Wagga. Operating a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft, Rex provides essential services to 49 destinations across Australia.

About the Role

As a Solo Flight Attendant with Rex, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring passenger safety and comfort. This role offers the opportunity to provide personalised service while travelling to unique Australian destinations. Duties include equipment and security checks, in-flight announcements, food and beverage service, cleaning, and managing various cabin situations autonomously. Extensive training is provided, and flying experience is not required.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Australian Citizen or hold Australian Permanent Residency.
• Maximum height of 173 cm.
• Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
• Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (completed within the last 3 years).
• Demonstrated completion of at least one of the following:
  • A minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in Australia or New Zealand within the last 5 years.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in the UK, Ireland, or USA within the last 5 years.
  • An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall score of 5.5.
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security check.
• Demonstrated passion for the role and commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Ability to swim fully clothed without aid or a floating device (a swim assessment is required).
• Flexibility and adaptability, with willingness to work varied hours including weekends, public holidays, shift work, and some nights away from home.
• High level of personal presentation.
• Natural willingness to please and care for passengers.
