Minimum Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must meet the stringent minimum flight experience and licensing requirements detailed below. Only applicants who fulfill all mandatory criteria will be considered for this professional aviation role.
Flight Experience
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 2000 hours.
 
- Turbine Pilot-in-Command (PIC): Candidates must possess at least 300 hours of PIC experience on Multi-Engine Jet or Turboprop aircraft.
 
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required at the time of application, as comprehensive training will be provided by Platoon Aviation.
 
Licensing and Certification
- License Holder: Valid EASA license holder.
 
- License Requirements: Possession of a current EASA Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
 
- Ratings Required: Current Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Multi-Engine (ME), and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) qualifications.
 
- Medical Certification: A valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
 
- Language Proficiency: Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4.
 
Administrative and Legal Prerequisites
- The applicant must hold an unrestricted EU passport.
 
- Possession of a valid driving license is required.
 
- Candidates must possess the unrestricted legal right to live and work within the European Union.
 
- Previous General Aviation (GA) experience is considered highly advantageous, though not mandatory.
