We are currently seeking B1900 Direct Entry Captains to join our growing pilot group in VANCOUVER . A little bit about us

Pacific Coastal Airlines is headquartered in the South Terminal at the Vancouver International Airport. Under the Pacific Coastal banner, we fly scheduled and charter services between busy international airports, remote destinations, and beautiful communities such as Tofino Bella Bella, and Bella Coola just to name a few. All in the province of beautiful British Columbia. Our operation in Southern Alberta creates an exciting opportunity for candidates desiring to be based in the region as part of the Pacific Coastal team.

Pacific Coastal Airlines Comprehensive Benefits Package

  • A base salary ranging from $76,473 to $100,000 (Tier1-6) based on experience with an 8 year scale up to $108,547
  • Hourly per diem rate of $4.25 per duty hour
  • Additional Trainer Pay Premiums for Training Captains
  • Guaranteed minimum of 80 flying credits per month
  • 12 statutory holidays banked and can be spent to replace days worked in the available schedule
  • 3% matching RRSP plan after completion of probationary period
  • Maximum 18 duty-period schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2000 hours total time
  • 1000 PIC time
  • 1000 hours relevant experience*
  • Valid Canadian ATPL
  • Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card
  • Must be Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident or, hold a valid permit to work in Canada
  • Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

*Relevant experience is considered to be multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR, and/or turbine experience.

Preferences will be given to candidates with qualifications beyond the minimum requirements

  • Applicants with higher Multi-Turbine PIC Hours
  • Applicants with multi-crew experience
  • Applicants with Turbine Time in 600/702/703/704/705 operations
