ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:

Work with HR Managers to assure pilot recruitment and staffing levels are adequate

Make recommendations to Chief Pilot and Director of Training in regard to training/checking observations

Aid in Functional Check Flight (FCF) of aircraft with Director of Operations Tech Support as appropriate

Act for Chief Pilot in his/her absence when delegated to do so
-
Monitor checking events with Manager of Flight Standards to recommend changes in training/checking in ensure adequate performance in special flight operations
QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to speak, write, and read fluent English

Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a type rating in at least one of the aircraft Omni operates

Minimum 2,000 hours Total Time with 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command

Excellent communication skills and quick and accurate decision making

Close attention to detail

Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays

Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and security badges

Must have right to work in the United States
-
Must have a valid passport, and ability to travel internationally to all countries Omni requires
-
Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
-
Master’s Degree preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain First Class Medical Certificate

Lift up to 60 lbs
