Omni Air International | B757/767 Chief Pilot

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:

• Work with HR Managers to assure pilot recruitment and staffing levels are adequate
  
• Make recommendations to Chief Pilot and Director of Training in regard to training/checking observations
  
• Aid in Functional Check Flight (FCF) of aircraft with Director of Operations Tech Support as appropriate
  
• Act for Chief Pilot in his/her absence when delegated to do so
  
• Monitor checking events with Manager of Flight Standards to recommend changes in training/checking in ensure adequate performance in special flight operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to speak, write, and read fluent English
• Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a type rating in at least one of the aircraft Omni operates
• Minimum 2,000 hours Total Time with 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command
• Excellent communication skills and quick and accurate decision making
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays
• Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and security badges
• Must have right to work in the United States
• Must have a valid passport, and ability to travel internationally to all countries Omni requires
• Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
• Master’s Degree preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to obtain First Class Medical Certificate
• Lift up to 60 lbs
