On behalf of the Norwegian family, the organisation invites applications for permanent Cabin Crew Members to be based in Helsinki, Finland. This role is central to maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence and innovation within the aviation industry.

The role of a Cabin Crew Member at Norwegian extends far beyond typical customer service. Whether a candidate is entering the aviation sector for the first time or is an experienced professional, Norwegian provides a comprehensive training course designed to fully prepare the individual for the rigours of the role. Upon successful completion, the new crew member will receive official industry certification and will join a dedicated global team of approximately 2,500 highly-skilled cabin crew members.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • A clean and verifiable criminal record.
  • Possession of a European unrestricted passport that allows visa-free entry to all destination countries.
  • Must hold a valid work permit for Finland.
  • The ability to pass a mandatory drug and alcohol test prior to employment.
  • Minimum age requirement of 20 years old.
  • Minimum height requirement of 160 cm, or the ability to reach 210 cm on tiptoes.
  • Proficiency in swimming is mandatory.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
  • The candidate must reside within a 90-minute commute of the Helsinki base or be willing to relocate.
  • Visible tattoos are strictly restricted: no tattoos on the face or neck. Tattoos on hands or behind the ear must not exceed 1.5 cm in size.

Desired Attributes

  • Preferably holds a valid Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA).
  • Possesses a valid medical certificate or demonstrates the ability to obtain one promptly.
  • Preferably fluent in a Scandinavian language.
  • Preferably has completed upper secondary school (academic or practical track) or equivalent education. Relevant professional experience in service industries may compensate for formal schooling in certain instances.

Post-Selection Requirements

Selected candidates must successfully complete the following steps to finalise employment:

  • Obtain an approved medical certificate, including mandatory intoxication/alcohol testing.
  • Pass a comprehensive background check necessary for obtaining an admission card.
  • Achieve successful completion of the Norwegian training course.
