About the Role

Jettime is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven individuals to join its Cabin Crew team at the Helsinki base. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their journeys. Successful candidates will be instrumental in delivering Jettime's signature memorable onboard experience, characterized by a positive, can-do attitude and a genuinely cheerful atmosphere. As a supplier of aircraft and crew to prominent Nordic airlines such as SAS, Finnair, and Air Greenland, as well as charter operators like TUI, Jettime offers a dynamic and varied work environment.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates possess a strong service orientation, flexibility, and resilience. They demonstrate a positive mindset towards the service industry, thrive in fast-paced settings, and exhibit punctuality and adaptability to change. Excellent cooperation skills, coupled with the ability to work independently, are essential. Previous Cabin Crew experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Minimum age of 20 years.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English; good Swedish language skills are preferred.
  • High school diploma or a minimum of 2 years of work experience (preferably in service or healthcare sectors, e.g., travel guide, receptionist, shop assistant, nurse, social worker, or similar).
  • Good physical and stable mental health, essential for completing the Cabin Crew training course and fulfilling job duties.
  • Ability to obtain an approved aeromedical examination and pass a clear drug & alcohol test.
  • Height between 160-195 cm.
  • A valid EU passport with at least 6 months of validity from the training course start date.
  • Ability to swim a minimum of 200 meters unaided.
  • Within 90 minutes of reach to the departure gate at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) during standby duties.
  • Eligibility for security clearance and possession of a clean criminal record.
  • Willingness and ability to comply with Jettime's uniform regulations and policies. Visible tattoos require prior approval.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive documentation detailing whereabouts and activities over the past 5 years, including employment and educational history.

Working Schedule and Conditions

The Cabin Crew role involves a dynamic and varied working schedule, provided at least 14 days in advance. This position deviates from a traditional 9-to-5 schedule and may encompass all hours and days of the week, including nights and holidays. Candidates must demonstrate significant flexibility and adaptability, as extended periods away from their home base are expected. Training and Development

A comprehensive 4-week training course will be conducted at Jettime's HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark. For applicants to the HEL base, Jettime covers accommodation during the course and provides one set of return travel tickets to Copenhagen. Lunch is also provided during training. The training covers essential skills in first aid, safety, flight theory, communication, cooperation, sales, and service. Successful completion of all assessments, alongside an approved background check, is a prerequisite for employment. The training is provided free of charge, and upon successful graduation, a completion bonus equivalent to one month's base salary is awarded.
