Northern Air Fiji Pilot Position

Northern Air Fiji is seeking highly qualified and experienced pilots to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a demonstrable commitment to safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 2000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Type-Specific Experience: 100 hours
• Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
• Type Rating: Required
• Licenses: Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine Rating (ME)
• Licensing Authority: Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF)
• Medical Certificate: Class 1
• ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): Level 4

Experience and Qualifications:

Candidates must have unrestricted multi-engine command instrument rating and BGT/ATPL systems passed. Experience may be substituted as follows: 500 hours multi-engine PIC time and 2000 hours total time with 100 hours on type, or 1500 hours total time with 200 hours on type.

The successful applicant will be expected to seamlessly progress to a management position, such as MFO or Chief Pilot. Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and a positive attitude are essential. Prior experience in a management role, Safety Management Systems (SMS), or Quality Assurance auditing will be considered advantageous. COVID-19 vaccination status is not specified.
