About the Role

Northern Air is seeking an experienced Captain for their Elite operating team based in Fiji. This position involves flying the BN2A Islander aircraft and offers potential for progression into management roles. The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-engine PIC time and significant total flight hours, demonstrating a commitment to developing leadership capabilities within the airline.

Requirements

• A valid Fiji CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence).
• An unrestricted multi-engine command instrument rating.
• Successful completion of BGT/ATPL systems or equivalent turbine time.
• A minimum of 500 flight hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on multi-engine aircraft.
• Either 2000 total flight hours with 100 hours on type, or 1500 total flight hours with 200 hours on type.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to progress into a Senior First Officer (SFO) or Chief Pilot role.
• Possession of excellent knowledge, skills, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) or CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence).
• Experience in management roles, SMS (Safety Management Systems), or as a Quality Assurance Auditor will be considered an advantage.
