Position Summary

Executive Jet Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot Second in Command (SIC) for a Gulfstream G450 aircraft. This full-time position supports a dedicated, three-pilot account based just outside the Chicagoland area at Gary/Chicago International Airport (GYY) in Gary, IN. The operation includes Part 91 and internal Part 135 flights (no retail charter), flying approximately 300-350 hours per year. This aircraft is supported by a full-time Maintenance Technician and has dedicated hangar space.

The aircraft owner values quality of life, providing trip calendars known one to two months in advance, enabling the three-pilot crew to maintain a healthy work-life balance. International trips are scheduled with ample notice, and travel home between flight segments is frequently approved. This position requires the successful candidate to reside within driving distance of Gary, IN (GYY airport).

Responsibilities

The Pilot Second in Command performs pilot duties in strict accordance with the Company's General Operations Manual (GOM), FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other pertinent instructions. The SIC is responsible for ensuring company goals for safety, security, and quality are met by continually complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting any safety, security, or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations through the appropriate process.
