Second in Command (SIC) - Gulfstream G450 Float Program
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second in Command (SIC) for its G450 Float Program. This position is homebased and commutable.

Purpose of Position
The SIC is responsible for the well-being of passengers in all aspects of cabin safety and service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable flight experience. This includes:
- Proficiency in cabin safety and service protocols.
- Thorough knowledge of Abnormal and Emergency procedures.
- Expertise in all cabin systems and operations.
- Adherence to all duties assigned by the assigned Pilot in Command (PIC) for each scheduled trip.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The SIC's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Executing pilot duties in accordance with Company General Operating Manual (GOM), FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other relevant instructions.
- Ensuring compliance with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting any safety, security, or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
- Maintaining the aircraft interior post-flight, including removing debris, catering items, and reporting any equipment discrepancies to the PIC.
- Arranging and obtaining necessary cabin items, including catering, as directed by the Flight Operations Center, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Coordinating work schedules and schedule changes with the Chief Pilot.
- Logging and reporting flight and duty times.
- Reporting all commercial flying performed outside the Company to the Flight Operations Center for inclusion in Flight and Duty Time Records.
- Maintaining a current First-Class Medical Certificate and providing a copy to the Flight Operations Training Department by the 20th of each month.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)
- FAA- ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA -ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating as follows (IAW 61.160):
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience (2500 hours or more preferred).
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training, if ATP or Restricted ATP not already obtained.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
