The Opportunity
EJM is seeking highly motivated and experienced Second in Command candidates for its G450 Float Program. This home-based position offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to join a leading name in private aviation and contribute to EJM's unwavering commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
The Second in Command is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and adherence to all regulations and company procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing all pilot duties in accordance with Company GOM, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other relevant instructions.
- Actively participating in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program by adhering to safety protocols, reporting observations, and contributing to a culture of safety.
- Ensuring the pristine condition of the aircraft interior post-flight, including debris removal and reporting any discrepancies to the Pilot in Command.
- Coordinating and obtaining necessary cabin items, including catering, as directed by the Flight Operations Center.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintaining accurate flight and duty time records and promptly reporting any commercial flying performed outside the company to the Flight Operations Center.
- Providing the Flight Operations Training Department with a current First Class Medical Certificate by the 20th of each month.
Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA -ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating (IAW 61.160).
- Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time experience (2,500+ hours preferred).
- 200 hours of cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC experience.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator time).
- Completion of ATP written exam prior to Indoctrination Training, if ATP or Restricted ATP is not yet obtained.
- 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
