Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Falcon 2000LX aircraft based in Bedford, MA (KBED). This multi-pilot operation, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operates under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. The successful candidate must reside within a two-hour driving radius of KBED.

The Pilot in Command bears the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft's safe, compliant, and efficient operation. This individual will adhere to all company and regulatory mandates while consistently delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure flight operations are conducted safely, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
  • Verify crewing and trip assignments align with all applicable requirements.
  • Complete thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance assessments.
  • Employ Threat, Plan, and Consideration (TPC) methodologies to lead briefings and mitigate risks.
  • Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate effectively with company personnel. Act as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
  • Conduct meticulous pre-flight checks, verifying maintenance status and ensuring mission capability. Report all discrepancies according to company SOPs.
  • Supervise aircraft ground servicing, including fueling, oil, and oxygen, in compliance with SOPs.
  • Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations, ensuring exceptional service and catering to special needs.
  • Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to ensure clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
  • Provide outstanding service to owners and passengers, proactively seeking ways to enhance their EJM experience and resolving service deviations.
  • Collaborate effectively with crew members and EJM partners to ensure service consistency, addressing conflicts and challenges constructively.
  • Maintain all necessary regulatory and company training requirements, along with currency of experience.
  • Comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and report any safety or non-compliance concerns through proper channels.

Qualifications:

  • Prior corporate or business aviation experience is preferred.
  • FAA Type rating for the applicable fleet is required.
  • Must be capable of performing all essential functions of the position.
  • Minimum flight time requirements:
    • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
    • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
    • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours

Compensation:

The base salary range is competitive and will be commensurate with experience and aircraft type.

  • Small/Mid/Supermid Cabin Aircraft: $160,000 - $325,000
  • Large/Heavy/Premium Cabin Aircraft: $160,000 - $425,000
