Challenger 350 Pilot Position - Executive Jet Management
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, is a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977. This position is for a Challenger 350 aircraft based in TEB, supporting a 4-pilot account with a dedicated Maintenance Technician operating under Part 135 and 91 regulations. Preference will be given to candidates residing within a 2-hour drive of TEB.
Purpose of Position:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is ultimately responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience for passengers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Verifies crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes flight planning, performance, weight and balance tasks for each assignment as needed.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as required. Serves as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all pre-flight aircraft tasks, including verifying the aircraft's maintenance status to ensure mission capability. Records all aircraft discrepancies according to company SOPs.
- Monitors and ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are accomplished in accordance with SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings adhering to company policy and regulations, providing the highest level of customer service and accommodating any special needs (e.g., physically challenged).
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides quality service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Regularly investigates and resolves service deviations.
- Collaborates with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience for owners and passengers. Resolves conflict and challenges in a professional and acceptable manner.
- Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- Must possess a valid ATP certificate.
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet is required.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
Pilot in Command:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Second in Command:
- Total Flight Time: 2500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
- Jet: 250 hours
- Turbine Engine: 100 hours
- Time in Type: 50 hours
Base Salary Range:
$110,000 - $432,000
