Aircraft Pilot
Position Summary
The Aircraft Pilot is responsible for maintaining proficiency and competency as a required crewmember on assigned aircraft. This position is critical in executing duties to provide safe and efficient air transportation, ensuring all flights comply with established company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. The pilot will operate type-rated aircraft professionally, conduct comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight checks, and develop and modify flight plans based on operational conditions, including weather. Successful candidates must meet NGL's Open Pilot Warranty and insurance provider approval requirements, hold a minimum 2nd Class Pilot Medical Certificate, and fulfill recurrent training and FAA specifications. The role also involves assisting with additional duties as directed by the Aviation Director.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate assigned type-rated aircraft in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft's operational systems.
- Create and modify flight plans to adapt to changing conditions, such as weather.
- Meet the requirements of NGL's Open Pilot Warranty and insurance provider approval for pilot coverage.
- Hold a minimum 2nd Class Pilot Medical Certificate.
- Successfully complete all recurrent training requirements and maintain compliance with all applicable FAA specifications.
- Support additional work duties as assigned by the Aviation Director.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 3500 hours Total Time (TT)
- 2000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- 500 hours Turbine
- 2500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Valid US Passport without restrictions
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- 1st or 2nd Class Medical Certificate
