Key Responsibilities

The Pilot in Command will be entrusted with a comprehensive range of duties to ensure seamless and superior flight operations, including:

• Ensuring that safety remains paramount in all operational aspects, working collaboratively with the Safety Manager.
• Greeting all guests and passengers with the highest degree of professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.
• Developing and fostering strong rapport and positive relationships with aircraft owners and passengers.
• Conducting meticulous inspections of aircraft to verify cleanliness and operational upkeep prior to guest arrivals.
• Maintaining consistent, timely, and clear communication in person, via telephone, and through email, and proactively advising flight operations of customer preferences.
• Demonstrating and sustaining the highest level of competency and skill within the assigned aircraft type.
• Operating with autonomy and sound judgment, particularly in remote base assignments, showcasing strong independent decision-making capabilities.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position operates within a highly professional and dynamic aviation environment, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and direct interaction with both stationary and moving aircraft. It is an exempt, full-time role that necessitates significant scheduling flexibility to accommodate varying duty schedules, including evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays. The ability to operate independently is crucial, especially in the context of remote base assignments.

Reporting Relationship

The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Chief Pilot and the Director of Operations, ensuring clear lines of communication and operational oversight.

Travel Requirements

Travel is expected solely in the performance of pilot duties. No additional travel is anticipated outside of essential flight operations.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and maintain the requirements stipulated in 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c).
• A comprehensive and current knowledge of 14 CFR and FAA regulations.
• An acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
• Adherence to a strict zero-tolerance drug-free policy.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commuting distance of the designated base airport.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• A minimum of 3000 hours of total flight time.
• Previous experience operating under Part 135 regulations.
• Candidates with a type rating and substantial experience in the Gulfstream G-150 aircraft will receive strong preference.
