About the Role
Magnifica Air seeks an experienced Director of Flight Operations Training to lead the development and execution of comprehensive pilot training programs. This senior leadership role, based in Orlando, FL, is instrumental in ensuring pilots meet the highest standards of competence, safety, and aeronautical decision-making. The Director will oversee both flight and ground school initiatives, contributing significantly to the operational excellence of a new luxury airline.
Responsibilities

Direct all aspects of flight and ground training to ensure adherence to the highest safety and performance standards.

Lead major training initiatives, including the development of new training programs and the integration of advanced training technologies.

Assist in the preparation of cost predictions and manage the budget for the Flight Training Department.

Formulate and administer all training programs in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Effectively manage budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of training programs.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align training strategies with overarching business objectives.
Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Part 121 Airline Training Programs.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Part 121 Pilot Operations.

An A320 type rating is preferred.

Possess a professional demeanor and the ability to embody dedication and support for company objectives.

Demonstrate strong working knowledge of common desktop applications.
