Director of Flight Operations Training
Magnifica Air is seeking a Director of Flight Operations Training to be based in Orlando, FL. This leadership role takes full ownership of the training strategy, ensuring pilots are competent, safety-minded, and skilled in aeronautical decision-making. As part of a luxury airline bridging the gap between commercial first class and private aviation, the successful candidate will have the autonomy to lead major training initiatives across both flight and ground school while working alongside senior industry leaders to build the airline’s operations from the ground up.
Role Responsibilities
The Director of Flight Operations Training is responsible for the highest standards of safety and service. Key duties include:

Directing all aspects of flight and ground training to ensure pilots meet performance and safety standards.

Leading major training initiatives, including the development of new programs and the implementation of advanced training technologies.

Assisting in the preparation of cost predictions and monitoring the budget for the Flight Training Department.

Ensuring all training programs are formulated and administered in strict compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Managing resources effectively to deliver training programs on time and within budgetary constraints.

Collaborating with senior leadership to align training strategies with overall business objectives.

Mentoring the training team and providing clear ownership of the department's operational success.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Part 121 Airline Training Programs.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Part 121 Pilot Operations.

A320 type rating is preferred.

A professional demeanor with a proven ability to model dedication to company goals.

Strong working knowledge of common desktop applications.
