Minimum Requirements for Applicants:
- Flight Experience:
- A minimum of 5,000 total flight hours on turbine aircraft.
- At least 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on turbine aircraft.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours PIC experience specifically accrued on CS-25 certified aircraft.
- Qualifications & Licenses:
- Possession of a valid EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- A current and valid CS-25 Type Rating.
- A valid Type Rating Instructor (TRI) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) qualification is essential.
- Demonstrated and proven experience in an instructor role within an aviation environment.
- An A220 TRI/TRE qualification is highly preferred, though not an mandatory prerequisite.
- Medical & Language Proficiency:
- A valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Confident verbal and written English language skills, meeting a minimum of ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4.
- General Requirements:
- Possession of a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachhochschulreife or an equivalent academic qualification).
- A passport with unlimited validity. For candidates not holding an EU passport, it is a strict requirement that there are no stricter entry restrictions than those applicable to EU passport holders.
