Role Overview
Lufthansa City Airlines is seeking highly skilled and experienced Captains and Type Rating Instructors/Examiners (TRI/TRE) to join its expanding flight operations. This full-time, direct entry position offers the unique opportunity to actively shape the future of a new airline within the esteemed Lufthansa Group, based in Munich and Frankfurt.

Qualifications
Candidates for this pivotal role must possess strong decision-making skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach, along with the following essential qualifications:
- Valid EASA ATPL(A).
- Current and valid A220 Type Rating.
- Valid A220 TRI/TRE qualification (minimum TRI/r; further qualifications are advantageous).
- Demonstrable experience as an aviation instructor.
- Minimum of 5000 total flight hours on CS-25 certified aircraft.
- Minimum of 1000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on CS-25 certified aircraft.
- Valid Medical Class 1 Certificate.
- General higher education entrance qualification (e.g., Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or equivalent).
- EU citizenship or an unrestricted residence and work permit for Germany.
- Passport with unlimited validity (for non-EU passport holders, entry restrictions must not be stricter than those for EU passport holders).
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, with at least ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4.
- Successful completion of City Airlines' selection standards is required; recognition of prior Lufthansa Group selection procedures may be possible.
