Job Description

Fiji Airways, headquartered in Nadi, Fiji, is actively seeking qualified and type-rated First Officers for its Airbus A330 and A350 fleet. This exciting opportunity offers pilots the chance to operate a modern aircraft fleet on routes spanning New Zealand, the Pacific region, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Hong Kong, and various Australian destinations.

These positions are offered on a 3-year renewable contract basis, designed to be highly attractive to pilots based in Australia and New Zealand. Fiji Airways facilitates seamless commuting by providing travel tickets between the crew member's contract base and Nadi for duty commencement.

Salary and Benefits

Fiji Airways provides a competitive compensation package for Captains and First Officers, including:

Requirements

Valid A330 or A350 Type Rating.
Minimum 1,500 total jet hours.
Minimum type experience:
- A minimum of 500 hours on A330/A350; OR
- A minimum of 1,500 hours on A320/A340, with the ability to obtain an A330/A350 rating or complete a CCQ (Continuous Competency Qualification).
Recent flying experience on type within the last 12 months (may be waived).
Maximum age of 60 at the commencement of the assignment.
Preference for candidates holding the right to reside in the United States, Australia, or New Zealand.
Valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
