Fiji Airways operates a modern fleet including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft, serving key international destinations across the Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, North America, and Asia. These positions offer attractive 3-year renewable contracts, making them particularly appealing to pilots in the Australian and New Zealand regions.

Contract Details and Benefits

  • Contract Term: 3-year renewable contract.
  • Commuting Provisions: Commuting tickets are provided between the crew member's contract base and Nadi for commencement of duty, facilitating work-life balance.
  • Accommodation: A monthly accommodation allowance is provided.
  • Overtime: Monthly overtime is payable for block hours exceeding 70.
  • Days Off: A block of 10 days off is guaranteed each month.
  • Annual Leave: 24 days of annual leave are granted.

Minimum Requirements

  1. A valid A330 or A350 type rating is mandatory.
  2. A minimum of 1,500 total jet flight hours is required.
  3. Specific type hour requirements include:
    • A minimum of 500 flight hours on the A330/A350 aircraft type, OR
    • A minimum of 1,500 flight hours on the A320/A340, provided the applicant will obtain their A330/A350 rating or complete a CCQ (Command Upgrade Course) as part of the application process.
  4. Recent flight experience on type within the last 12 months is preferred, though this may be waived under certain circumstances.
  5. Candidates must be a maximum of 60 years of age at the commencement of the assignment.
  6. Preference will be given to candidates who possess the right to reside in the United States, Australia, or New Zealand.
  7. A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) is essential.
  8. A current First Class Medical Certificate is required.
  9. Proficiency in English with an ICAO English Language Proficiency Level of 5 or above is necessary.
