First Officer Job Opening: A330 & A350 – Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, headquartered in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking experienced, type-rated A330 and A350 First Officers to join its flight operations team. The airline operates a robust network including destinations across New Zealand, the Pacific, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Hong Kong.
Position Overview
These positions offer a three-year renewable contract, providing a stable professional opportunity for pilots residing in the Australian and New Zealand regions. To support commuting, Fiji Airways provides transit tickets between the crew member’s contract base and Nadi for duty commencement.
Candidate Requirements

Possession of a valid ICAO ATPL and a valid First Class Medical.

Current A330 or A350 type rating.

Minimum of 1,500 hours of total jet time.

Minimum type experience: 500 hours on A330/A350, OR 1,500 hours on A320/A340 (with the requirement that the applicant obtains their own A330/A350 rating or CCQ).

Recent flight experience on type within the last 12 months (subject to waiver).

Maximum age of 60 at the commencement of the assignment.

Minimum ICAO English Level 5 proficiency.

Preferred residency status in the United States, Australia, or New Zealand.
Compensation and Benefits
The role includes a competitive remuneration package and extensive benefits:

Monthly Base Pay:
NZD 10,208 (for 70 block hours).

Excess Flying Pay:
125% of the hourly rate for time exceeding 70 hours per month.

Flight Duty Pay:
NZD 10 per block hour.

Monthly accommodation allowance of NZD 2,240.

Leave:
24 days of annual leave and a guaranteed block of 10 days off per month.
