Jetstar Japan Seeks Experienced Airbus A320 Captains and First Officers

Jetstar Japan (JJP), a dynamic and expanding low-cost carrier based at Narita International Airport, is seeking experienced Airbus A320 Captains and First Officers to join its growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a reputable airline operating a modern fleet of 24 A320 aircraft, with further expansion planned. JJP offers over 100 flights daily, connecting 14 domestic and international destinations across an expanding network.

Attractive Remuneration and Benefits Await

Successful candidates will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:

• Generous Sign-on Bonus: JPY 2,000,000
• Competitive Base Salary: JPY 13,200,000 per annum for Captains
• Housing Allowance: JPY 155,000 per month
• Productivity Pay: JPY 17,000 per hour for flight hours exceeding 60 per month
• Commuting Allowance: JPY 100,000 per month
• Layover Allowance: JPY 5,000 within Japan, JPY 4,000 for layovers outside Japan
• Training Salary: 100% of base salary provided during training
• Annual Leave: 20 days per year
• Sick Leave: 24 days per year
• Additional Benefits: Annual bonus and staff travel privileges

Estimated Gross Monthly Salary: Approximately JPY 1,710,000 (approximately USD $15,400)

Desired Skills and Experience

Pilots with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• Total Flight Time: Minimum 4,000 hours
• Jet Aircraft Experience: Minimum 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Experience on Jet Aircraft: Minimum 1,000 hours
• PIC Experience on Airbus Fly-by-Wire Aircraft: Minimum 500 hours
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate
• ICAO English Proficiency: Level 5 or above

While experience on the Airbus A320 is preferred, pilots with experience on the A330, A340, A350, or A380 are also welcome to apply. JCAB license holders are also encouraged to submit their applications.
