HEMS Pilot – Norwich, Norfolk
A leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors seeks a highly skilled HEMS Pilot to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis in Norwich, Norfolk. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in varied and challenging flying, including HEMS and NVIS operations, utilizing the H145 D3 helicopter.
Responsibilities:
The HEMS Pilot will operate the H145 D3, performing diverse and demanding flight duties across various disciplines, including HEMS and NVIS operations.
Essential Requirements:
- 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft, with 500 hours as pilot in command on twin-turbine helicopters.
- Or 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations, including 500 hours as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin-turbine helicopters.
- Minimum of 2000 hours total helicopter experience.
- 500 hours of operating experience in twin-turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.
- 20 hours VMC at night as pilot in command.
- Current or recent HEMS experience.
- Experience flying with Night Vision Goggles.
- Must be able to achieve SC clearance.
Qualifications Required:
- Hold a UK ATPL(H).
- Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, and Right to Work in the UK.
- Qualified and instrument-rated on the EC145.
