About the Role
L3Harris invites applications for a skilled and dedicated Boeing 757 Pilot based in Richmond, VA. This pivotal role involves operating a B757 aircraft as part of a professional flight crew, ensuring operational excellence, safety management, and mission success. The position requires a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and customer service, with potential for future G550 (Gulfstream G550) type rating requirements.
The successful Boeing 757 Pilot will perform duties as a professional flight crew member, contributing to operational, training, and safety management objectives. This includes strict adherence to scheduling, coordination, training, certification, and qualification mandates, alongside compliance with crew flight and duty time limitations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Pilot will collaborate closely with customers to foster a strong safety culture and provide exceptional service. This role requires readiness for short-notice travel and on-call responsibilities, necessitating domicile within a one-hour response time to Richmond International Airport (RIC). Employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining a DoD Top Secret security clearance, and successful completion of a B757 (Boeing 757) type rating, with potential for a G550 type rating in the future.
Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, with experience in aircraft having a Maximum Take-Off Gross Weight (MTGW) of 74,000 lbs or greater.

Successful completion of a B757 (Boeing 757) type rating is required; ability to complete a G550 (Gulfstream G550) type rating if needed.

Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.

Minimum 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours.

Minimum 1,500 multi-engine turbine hours.

Current Class II FAA Flight Physical (Class I if aged 65 or older).

Ability to obtain an airport clearance/security badge (FAA).

Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills, tact, and strong interpersonal communication abilities.

Experience in daily interaction with customers at various levels.

Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing the English language.

Physical ability to lift and/or move 50–75 pounds above the head.

Willingness and ability to work assigned shifts (7 days/week, 12 hours/day) to support company objectives.
Qualifications

Educational backgrounds considered include a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree with at least seven (7) years of related experience, or a minimum of thirteen (13) years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills:

Active DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance.

Current flight experience with 500 Boeing 757 (B757) or Boeing 767 (B767) hours.

RVSM trained.

International flight experience.

Familiarity with FAA FAR Part 91, 121, 125, or 135 regulations.
