L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead, Boeing 757 Pilot to join a select team of professional flight crews and maintenance personnel. This role is integral to ensuring operational excellence, training standards, and safety management goals are consistently met. The Pilot is responsible for adhering to all scheduling, coordinating, training, certification, and qualification requirements.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance with crew flight and duty time limitations and standard operating procedures. Working in close coordination with the customer, the Pilot will maintain a robust culture of safety through efficient procedures that support outstanding customer service. This position necessitates flexibility and the ability to perform short-notice travel and fulfill on-call responsibilities.
The Pilot must be domiciled (within a one-hour response time) to Richmond International Airport to meet time-sensitive schedule requirements and on-call duties.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, with experience in aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Gross Weight (MTGW) of 74,000 lbs or greater.
- Possesses a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
- Has a minimum of 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours.
- Includes a minimum of 1,000 multi-engine turbine hours.
- Ability to successfully complete a Boeing 757 type rating, and G550 type rating (if required).
- Demonstrates highly skilled performance, coupled with a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with daily interface with customers at numerous levels is required.
- Must possess outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to read, speak, and write the English language fluently.
- Capable of moving or maneuvering 50 – 75 pounds above the head.
- Willingness and ability to work assigned shifts seven days a week, up to twelve hours a day, to support company objectives.
- Must be able to obtain an airport clearance/security badge (FAA).
- Must hold and maintain a Class II FAA Flight Physical (First Class if age 65 or older).
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience is acceptable.
Preferred Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
- Possesses 500 Boeing 757/767 flight hours (current experience preferred).
- Familiarity or experience with FAA FAR Part 91/121/125/135 is preferred.
- RVSM trained.
- International experience is preferred.
