L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Lead Pilot to serve as a Gulfstream 550 Pilot in Command (PIC). This individual will be an integral member of a professional flight crew and maintenance team, contributing to operational, training, and safety management objectives. As an initial cadre member, the Lead Pilot will play a critical role in establishing Gulfstream 550 flight operations and assisting in the training of existing organizational pilots on the G550 aircraft. The position requires adherence to all scheduling, coordinating, training, certification, and qualification requirements, as well as strict compliance with crew flight and duty time limitations and standard operating procedures. The Lead Pilot will work closely with the customer to maintain a strong safety culture and implement efficient procedures that ensure outstanding customer service. This role includes on-call responsibilities and occasional short-notice travel.
When evaluating the flight time of applicants meeting the basic qualifications, consideration will be given to factors including quality, quantity, recent experience, and verifiability of training; complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine-powered aircraft.
