Cabin Crew - Helsinki, Finland

Jettime is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented individual to join its team as Cabin Crew, based in Helsinki, Finland. As a Cabin Crew member, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers while delivering exceptional customer service, creating a memorable onboard experience for charter guests.

Jettime provides aircraft and crew to major Nordic tour operators such as TUI and Tjäreborg, and collaborates with airlines including SAS, Finnair, and Air Greenland.

This is a full-time, temporary position for five months, with the potential for full-time permanent employment, based at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) and directly employed by Jettime Oy. The role requires flexibility and adaptability, as working hours follow a schedule provided at least 14 days in advance and may include all hours and days of the week, including nights and holidays. Cabin Crew members should anticipate spending consecutive nights away from their home base at various destinations or Nordic bases. The position offers the opportunity to build camaraderie and create lasting memories with colleagues, potentially in destinations across Southern Europe.

• Excellent cooperation skills and ability to work independently.
• Highly attuned to surroundings, with a focus on customer well-being.
• Experience as Cabin Crew is an advantage, but not required.
• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Fluent in Finnish and English, with proficiency in Swedish preferred. Additional languages are a merit.
• High school diploma or at least 2 years of work experience, preferably in service or healthcare.
• Good physical and stable mental health to manage Cabin Crew training and job demands.
• Ability to obtain an approved aeromedical examination and pass a drug and alcohol test before training.
• Height between 160-195 cm.
• Valid EU passport with at least 6 months validity at the start of training.
• Ability to swim a minimum of 200 meters unaided.
• Ability to reach the departure gate at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) within 90 minutes during standby duties.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and provide documentation of whereabouts and activities for the past 5 years, including jobs, degrees, etc. A clean criminal record is required.
• Willingness to follow Jettime uniform regulations and policies. Visible tattoos must be approved prior to employment.

Training:

Jettime provides a 4-week training course at its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. Accommodation and one set of return tickets to Copenhagen will be covered for applicants to the HEL base, as well as lunch during training. The course covers first aid, safety, theory of flight, communication, cooperation, sales, and service. Successful completion of the course and an approved background check are required for employment. The course is free of charge. Upon successful completion of the training, the candidate will receive a completion-bonus, which is the equivalent of a one-month base salary.

Salary & Conditions:

In addition to a fixed base salary, employees receive per diem allowances and compensation for holiday, Sunday, and nighttime work, plus a sales commission from onboard sales. Jettime Oy employees also benefit from an occupational health care package. Terms and conditions are in accordance with the Jettime Oy Cabin Crew collective agreement.
