We are excited to announce we are now hiring passionate customer service professionals, to join our Cabin Crew team based at Auckland airport.

Our Cabin Crew play the most important part in the delivery of our customer experience onboard our aircraft. Our crew spend the most time with our customers throughout their travelling journey and to be successful you will need to have a good level of customer service work experience, have a focus on safety, a high level of positive energy and always ready for new challenges as no two days are the same!

You will need to be flexible and committed to the lifestyle of a Cabin Crew team member, as your roster will vary depending on our schedule and operational requirements, resulting in potentially missing birthdays, weddings and other important life milestones. Your role has a great sense of responsibility, most importantly for the safety and comfort of our customers during their travel. There will be lots of fun, you will have the opportunity to meet different people every day and build relationships with our frequent flyers, yet most importantly, you will become part of our Jetstar family!

What does it take to fly with us?

• Experience working in a customer service environment (essential).
• Be adaptable to any situation that may present itself in a sensible, warm and safe way.
• Safety conscious and reliable, available for shift work 24/7 which includes a combination of early starts, evenings and late finishes, 365 days per year
• An excellent level of health and fitness, including the ability to swim 50 metres fully clothed and tread water for 3 mins unassisted.
• Ability to comfortably vertically reach 210cm (obtainable by most over 160cm height).
• Excellent communication skills in addition to well-groomed presentation.
• Current living arrangements in Auckland.
• Willing to obtain a full physical pre-employment medical check with a Qantas-approved provider, at your own cost.
• Have either Australian or New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency with unrestricted access to any of our Jetstar ports across ANZ.
• Have a clear criminal record to obtain a Qantas Group ASIC card (which includes national & international criminal checks)
• Available for a ground school commencement of October 2021, with the ability to commit to 5 weeks of training (based in either Auckland or Melbourne)
• Note the above criteria will be tested throughout the recruitment, onboarding and training process.
