Through a comprehensive 20-week development program, the successful candidate will be prepared to become a valued Second Officer. Opportunities are available on both Boeing and Airbus fleets, with positions based across various UK locations. The organization is seeking current or future fATPL holders who meet specific eligibility criteria and time commitments.
The 20-week program offers a unique experience, exposing participants to various teams within the organization's commercial and operational headquarters in Leeds, as well as spending time at one of its operational bases. The Future Second Officer will shadow and collaborate with professionals who have contributed to making the airline a multi-award-winning company, while also participating in Cabin Crew training and operations.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Upon successful completion of the 20-week program, the candidate will participate in a fully bonded type-rating. Following completion of the type-rating, the candidate will join one of the fleets as a Second Officer.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who meet the aforementioned requirements or anticipate fulfilling all requirements within two calendar months from the application date. Start dates are offered throughout the year, and successful candidates will be placed in the next available intake.
Candidates selected for the next stage will be required to complete online psychometric and ability assessments, as well as a short video interview. Successful candidates from the initial assessment phase will be invited to participate in further assessments. These may include a remote interview, followed by an in-person assessment center and simulator exercise.
