Future Second Officer Programme

Jet2.com, an award-winning airline, and Jet2holidays, the UK’s leading tour operator, are seeking newly qualified pilots for the Future Second Officer Programme. This unique 6-week pathway is designed to immerse candidates in the company's operation and culture, providing the essential knowledge, skills, and mindset required to thrive in a commercial airline environment.

With a growing fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft and a strong commitment to pilot lifestyle and career development, this programme offers an excellent foundation for professional advancement. Over one-quarter of the current Jet2.com pilot workforce began their careers through this programme or the former pilot apprentice scheme.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid UK Part-FCL Pilot’s Licence.
• Valid UK Class 1 Medical with a minimum of six months' validity upon joining.
• APS MCC and Advanced UPRT certification.
• Strong ATPL results and a solid training record.
• Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME-IR).
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Documented evidence of flying currency through training and/or regular flying.
