Jet Linx is recruiting for a Second in Command (SIC) to join their team in Chicago, IL, operating Challenger 350 Super Midsize jet aircraft under Part 91 and 135 regulations. The ideal candidate will reside within a two-hour call-out radius of their home base.
About the Role
The Second in Command reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures. This role involves managing duty, flight, and rest times, maintaining constant communication with the company for operational updates and assignments, and ensuring the currency of all flight information and electronic flight bag applications.

A current 1st Class Medical Certificate

Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random testing, including specific testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines for safety-sensitive functions

Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Qualifications

Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
