G650 Captain - Hong Kong Based
To strengthen its Flight Operations team, Jet Aviation Group is seeking experienced G650 Captains to be based in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, specifically for G650 fleets, the Captain is responsible for supporting aircraft operations, upholding the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing professional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
The Captain will ensure the safety of all crew, passengers, and cargo onboard. They will guarantee adherence to all operational procedures and checklists as detailed in the Operations Manual (FOM). The Captain will confirm all crew members are at their designated stations before takeoff, final approach, and landing. They will not permit any non-essential activities during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, or landing. The Captain will ensure that flight data and cockpit voice recorders are not disabled or erased, except when required for incident/accident investigations. They will coordinate work distribution within the flight crew to maximize airmanship. The Captain is responsible for precise navigation, maintaining minimum altitudes, and adhering to aircraft system limitations. Strict checklist adherence is enforced. The Captain will ensure sufficient usable fuel for safe landing with final reserve fuel remaining. They will maintain close communication with the cabin crew for cabin safety. They will complete flight and technical logs and file written occurrence and accident reports as needed. The Captain is expected to maintain a thorough understanding of relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manuals, and agreed aviation practices. Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative is also required. They must comply with regulations in the Operations Manual (FOM) and Air Navigation Order (ANO). Finally, the Captain will ensure that all passengers are briefed on emergency exit locations and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must possess a current G650 type rating, a minimum of 500 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours, and hold an EASA or FAA license. Applicants must currently reside or be willing to relocate to Hong Kong.
