About the Role
The A319 Captain will assume overall responsibility for the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo. This position requires adherence to company procedures, regulatory requirements, and a commitment to delivering safe and reliable aviation services. The Captain will manage flight operations, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and compliance with all relevant guidelines, including the Company Operations Manual (FOM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities

Ensure safe and compliant flight operations in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Manage crew activities and workload for effective teamwork and airmanship.

Oversee accurate navigation, adherence to minimum safe altitudes, and operational flight requirements.

Operate the Airbus A319 aircraft and its systems according to limitations.

Monitor fuel planning to ensure sufficient reserves for safe flight completion.

Maintain effective communication with cabin crew to ensure cabin safety requirements are met.

Ensure accurate completion of flight documentation, technical logs, and operational records.

Submit reports for incidents, occurrences, or safety matters as required.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation regulations, company procedures, and industry best practices.

Uphold a high standard of professionalism and represent the company appropriately.

Ensure passengers receive necessary safety briefings.
Requirements

Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a current Airbus A319 type rating.

Minimum of 5,000 total flight hours.

Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience on the Airbus A319 or similar Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Valid FAA, EASA, UK, or equivalent ICAO-recognised pilot licence.

Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.

Strong knowledge of Airbus A319 aircraft systems, operational procedures, aviation regulations, and safety standards.

Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

Experience operating international routes and in various operational environments, including adverse weather conditions.
