Job Description
The Senior Captain is a critical member of the aviation team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. Responsibilities include:
- Operating company aircraft in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations (FARs, ICAO guidelines, manufacturer's recommendations).
- Exceeding customer expectations on each flight, providing options and solutions to meet changing flight times and business needs.
- Embracing the core value of "Speed Matters."
- Demonstrating stewardship by ensuring aircraft cleanliness and passenger readiness.
- Proactively participating in the Safety Management System (SMS): identifying, reporting, and assisting in mitigating safety-related issues, providing timely input on safety topics, and applying appropriate checklists for sound decision-making.
- Building positive relationships with passengers and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Acting with honesty and integrity, demonstrating exceptional character.
- Possessing self-discipline and a drive to exceed short and long-term expectations.
- Maintaining pilot proficiency and staying current within the industry, including annual simulator training and ground training programs.
- Writing routine reports and correspondence, effectively communicating with both internal and external groups.
Qualifications
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate – Multi-Engine
- 4,500 hours Total Time
- 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
- 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Time
- Turbine experience
- International experience
- Current first-class medical certificate
- Excellent safety record with no FAA violations, accidents, or incidents
- Ability to pass background checks, including those in accordance with TSA/HS regulations, and willingness to release a copy of FAA Airman Certification Record
- Ability to travel 60-80% of the time
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Exceptional reliability and timeliness
- Willingness to relocate and live within 1.5 hours of Hayward, Wisconsin, or Fort Lauderdale, Florida (or be home-based in the Minneapolis area)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions
- Valid state driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent worldwide international experience (Europe, South America, Asia)
- Challenger 350 Type Rating with 3,500 hours of experience
