About the Ground Instructor Role at JSX
JSX, a lifestyle carrier based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Ground Instructor to support its Pilot and Flight Attendant training programs. This full-time position involves facilitating classroom and online training, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the development and enhancement of training materials and methodologies.

The Ground Instructor is integral to JSX's commitment to delivering exceptional training. This role involves:

Facilitating engaging classroom and online instruction for Initial, Upgrade, Transition, and Recurrent training programs for Pilots and Flight Attendants.

Ensuring Crewmembers successfully complete training and meet established standards.

Accurately recording and certifying completed training in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborating with the Manager of Training to maintain and revise training materials, including the Pilot Training Manual.

Developing and improving training curriculum, presentations, graphics, and interactive learning materials.

Evaluating training methods and recommending cost-efficient, effective approaches.

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in training quality and efficiency.

Supporting broader training initiatives and operational needs across the organization.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated aviation knowledge, including terminology and processes.

Strong presentation, facilitation, and group discussion skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficiency with Adobe software for developing graphics and interactive content.

A current and valid driver’s license.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications

Pilot or dispatcher certification.

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), specifically 14 CFR Parts 61, 91, 119, and 135.

A minimum of one year of training experience within a 14 CFR Part 121 or Part 135 operation.

Previous teaching, instruction, or facilitation experience.
