JSX is seeking a Ground Instructor in Dallas, TX, to deliver and enhance pilot and flight attendant training programs. This full-time role is instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence within the company's training initiatives.
About the Role
The Ground Instructor is responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of JSX's Pilot and Flight Attendant training programs. This position involves facilitating both classroom and online training sessions for Initial, Upgrade, Transition, and Recurrent programs, ensuring all training is accurately documented and certified according to regulatory standards. The Ground Instructor will collaborate with the Manager of Training to maintain training materials, contribute to program development, and identify opportunities for delivering efficient and industry-leading training.
Responsibilities

Deliver engaging classroom and online instruction for Pilot and Flight Attendant training programs.

Ensure Crewmembers successfully complete all required training programs and meet established standards.

Accurately record and certify completed training in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Advise and support the Manager of Training on program-related matters.

Maintain and revise the Pilot Training Manual as needed.

Develop and enhance training curriculum, presentations, graphics, and interactive learning materials.

Evaluate training methods and propose effective, cost-efficient delivery approaches.

Identify opportunities to improve training quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Support other training team members with Crewmember training initiatives.

Contribute to additional training projects and operational needs as assigned.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Aviation knowledge, including terminology and processes.

Strong presentation, facilitation, and group discussion skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficiency with Adobe software and experience developing graphics and interactive training content.

Current and valid driver’s license.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications

Pilot or dispatcher certification.

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR Parts 61, 91, 119, and 135).

1+ year of training experience within a 14 CFR Part 121 or Part 135 operation.

Previous teaching, instruction, or facilitation experience.
