Captain, Airbus A320 – Peach Aviation, Kansai (KIX), Japan
Peach Aviation, a leading Japanese airline, seeks experienced captains to join its A320 fleet based at Kansai International Airport (KIX). This is an exceptional opportunity for regional jet captains to transition to a leading airline operating the Airbus A320. The position offers permanent employment with potential for extension beyond the standard retirement age.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Airbus A320 aircraft in accordance with Peach Aviation’s operational procedures and regulatory requirements. This includes pre-flight planning, in-flight operations, and post-flight reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC time on commercial transport jets (aircraft with passenger capacity of 50 or more).
- Minimum 4,000 hours total pilot flight time.
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) from an ICAO-recognized country.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate (ICAO).
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.
- Age below 59 (non-rated captains) or below 61 (A320 type-rated captains) at the time of application.
- Clean accident and incident history.
- Last flight within 12 months of application (currently waived due to COVID-19).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current JCAB ATPL (candidates holding a JCAB ATPL are encouraged to contact us directly for further details).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Average gross monthly compensation of approximately ¥1,600,000 JPY (approximately $16,950 AUD). *(Note: Compensation is paid in Japanese Yen and figures shown are before taxes.)*
- Permanent employment until age 65, with potential for one-year extensions up to age 68.
- New commuting pilot benefit: 10 blocked days per month for home travel.
- Training courses scheduled throughout 2024.
