The Opportunity

Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer to join its esteemed flight operations team based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Key Responsibilities

The First Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Pilot in Command (PIC) and ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting the Pilot in Command with all phases of flight, adhering to company standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Performing thorough pre-flight and post-flight duties, including comprehensive aircraft inspections, necessary documentation, and system checks.
Diligently monitoring aircraft systems, instrumentation, and performance parameters throughout all flight segments.
Providing essential support for navigation and communication systems, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange.
Actively participating in comprehensive flight planning, pre-flight briefings, and post-flight debriefings to optimize operational efficiency and safety.
Maintaining adherence to all company policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.

Required Qualifications

A valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate is mandatory.
Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate is essential.
Availability for required national and international travel on a weekly basis, demonstrating adaptability to a demanding flight schedule.

Work Environment

The First Officer will operate from Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter’s impressive 30,000 square foot office complex, strategically located on the entire ground floor of a modern office tower near the U.S. Customs facility at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE). This state-of-the-art facility boasts panoramic runway views, a 24-hour charter dispatch and call center equipped with cutting-edge technology, a fully-appointed executive conference room, and a luxurious passenger lounge offering a wide array of amenities, including snacks, beverages, and advanced entertainment systems. Directly adjacent to the corporate offices are two expansive 20,000 square foot aircraft hangars, housing the company’s dedicated on-site Flight Operations and Maintenance Departments, underscoring Hop-A-Jet's commitment to self-sufficiency and operational excellence.
