THE POSITION
Join Honeywell’s Flight Operations team. You will operate corporate aircraft in order to ensure highest safety standards and passenger comfort. You will be responsible for the airworthiness of the aircraft and for the safety of the passengers and crew. You will stay up-to-date on the latest developments in aviation, including State and Federal Aviation Regulations and work closely with ground staff and crew to run efficient flight operations. You will provide leadership to improve processes and increase efficiency of flight operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Flight planning aligned with maintenance
+ Maintenance assessment
+ Update flight manuals
+ Radio communication
+ Maintain records and log-books
+ Weather and safety assessment
+ Safety systems management
+ Aircraft and risk assessment
+ Develop training material and standards
+ Establish safety policies
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
+ A minimum of 3000 flight hours in turbine powered aircraft
+ Airline Transport Rating, Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL), Multi engine land and appropriate Type rating
+ FAA ATP Certificate – Airplane, Multi-Engine Land
PREFERRED
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
+ Experience as a Chief Pilot or equivalent position with previous management experience
+ Effective communication across diverse global teams
+ International experience
+ Strong customer service skills, high attention to detail and excellent follow-through and responsiveness
+ Heavy Business Jet experience (Gulfstream 550, Falcon 7X, etc.) a plus
+ Experience in the use of Safety Management Systems
+ Environmental awareness and stewardship
+ Timely decision-making of complex systematic analysis
+ Risk mitigation experience
