Role Purpose:

This role serves as a critical link between management and the frontline cabin crew team, encompassing responsibilities as a primary support provider, performance coach, and communication bridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care and Support:

    Serves as the first point of contact for cabin crew seeking assistance. Provides essential care and support to crew members, particularly during severe disruptions or crisis situations. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of operational procedures and policies to address crew queries effectively or direct inquiries to appropriate office teams.
  • Performance Coaching:

    Accountable for the overall performance of the cabin crew team, ensuring full compliance with service and safety standards. Offers coaching and guidance to support the individual career and personal development of team members. Collaborates with the office cabin crew management team to manage performance-related issues, including attendance levels, conduct, capability concerns, disciplinary matters, and grievances. Conducts regular flight checks and performance reviews for Cabin Crew members. Holds regular meetings with team members to provide coaching and follow up on relevant issues. Participates in promotion selection processes and conducts probation performance evaluations.
  • Communication Bridge:

    Acts as a vital communication link between management and frontline staff, effectively disseminating company information. Engages, motivates, and fosters team spirit within the team, including meeting with each team member regularly. Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years' working experience in the aviation industry, with a preference for supervisory experience.
  • At least 2 years of flying experience with HK Express is preferred.
  • Should have good academic qualifications and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Experience in planning, organization, and control of performance functions is essential.
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe, is necessary.
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision, coach, motivate, and develop others is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • The candidate should be able to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work well under pressure.
  • The role requires the ability to perform 5 days of office duty per month.
