Aviation organization seeks a highly motivated and qualified Second-in-Command (SIC) pilot for fixed-wing Hawker 800 aircraft. This pilot will be responsible for providing essential medical air transportation services to clients, operating Hawker aircraft with proficiency and adherence to safety regulations. The position involves a scheduled one-week on/one-week off rotation, encompassing both daytime and nighttime flights. This role emphasizes a commitment to safety and professionalism, necessitating a collaborative approach within a high-performing team dedicated to stringent safety protocols for both crew and passengers.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
The candidate must possess an FAA Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certification. They must also be willing and capable of obtaining an ATP certification within five years of employment. Additionally, the candidate is required to hold an FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate, along with a valid, unexpired driver's license. The pilot must reside in or be willing to relocate to Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate should currently hold or be able to attain an HS-125-800 PIC Type Rating and hold, or be eligible to hold, an FAA ATP certificate. Finally, the candidate must meet or exceed the following minimum flight experience: 1500 total hours in an airplane, 250 hours in a multi-engine airplane, and 250 hours as Pilot-in-Command in an airplane.
