Royal Jordanian, a prominent and respected international airline operating across continents with a diverse fleet, is seeking qualified Embraer 170/190 (E1) First Officers. This position offers a unique opportunity to transition to the Embraer E2 aircraft, with comprehensive training provided by the airline. This role is ideal for pilots seeking to advance their careers with a leading operator in the Arabian Peninsula.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will serve as an Embraer 170/190 E1 First Officer on a Brookfield contract. This role requires current type-rating experience on the Embraer 170/190. The airline is committed to professional development and will provide full training for the Embraer E2, making this an excellent transition opportunity for pilots holding a Frozen ATPL or full ATPL who are looking to gain E2 experience.

Key Requirements

  • Possession of a Full ATPL or Frozen EASA/ICAO ATPL.
  • Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours on Jet aircraft.
  • Minimum of 500 hours as First Officer on Embraer 170/190.
  • Valid Embraer 170/190 type-rating with at least 3 months of validity remaining.
  • The applicant's last flight on an Embraer 170/190 must have occurred within the last 6 months.
  • A valid Proficiency Check (LPC) which serves as the applicant's last flight.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

Contract Terms and Benefits

  • Monthly Net Salary: USD 8,500.
  • Accommodation: Provided in a 5-star hotel.
  • Ground Transportation: Provided.
  • Positioning Flights: Provided.
  • Travel Benefits: ID90 tickets available through the airline's network.
  • Insurance: International Medical Insurance coverage.
  • Contract Duration: 12 months, with renewal options.
  • Roster: 8 days off per month. Consecutive days off may be approved, allowing for up to 16 consecutive days off.
  • Bond: A 12-month bond with the airline is required for E2 training.
