Guardian Flight is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Pilot to join its Regional Maintenance Facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves flying C90 and PC12 aircraft, primarily for maintenance check flights, inspections, ground runs, and repositioning to ensure aircraft systems functionality and operational readiness.
The Aircraft Maintenance Pilot will conduct pre- and post-maintenance visual inspections, ground runs, and operational check flights on aircraft undergoing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting aircraft systems, verifying their performance against design specifications, and conducting repositioning flights. The pilot will also verify the aircraft's quality and readiness post-maintenance, ensuring cosmetic condition, cleanliness, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This position requires ensuring all flight documentation and manuals are up-to-date before aircraft return to service and maintaining accurate company and regulatory records. Collaboration with various departments such as Maintenance, Operations, and Quality Assurance is essential. Continuous professional development through required certifications and training, with a focus on aircraft systems, is also a key aspect of the role.
