German Airways Seeks Senior First Officers and Direct Entry Captains
German Airways, a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the European Regions Airline Association (ERA), is seeking experienced pilots to join its Embraer E190 fleet based in Cologne, Germany. Senior First Officer for Accelerated Command Requirements:
- Possess an EASA ATPL(A)
- Hold an EASA Medical Class 1 certificate
- Demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency at a minimum Level 4
- Be a native German speaker or possess a B2 German language certificate (or a native English speaker with a B2 English language certificate)
- Have accumulated a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours
- Have a minimum of 1,500 hours on jet aircraft exceeding 20 tonnes
- Possess an unrestricted passport
- Hold a Class B driver's license
- Have the legal right to work in the European Union
- Have a valid background check
- Provide a negative drug test
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Exhibit flexibility
- Possess autonomy
- Be able to work effectively within a team
- Show commitment
- Possess a valid type rating on the Embraer EMB170 (E190) (preferred)
Captain Requirements:
- Possess an EASA ATPL(A)
- Hold an EASA Medical Class 1 certificate
- Demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency at a minimum Level 4
- Be a native German speaker or possess a B2 German language certificate (or a native English speaker with a B2 English language certificate)
- Have accumulated a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours
- Have a minimum of 1,000 hours as PIC on aircraft exceeding 20 tonnes
- Possess an unrestricted passport
- Hold a Class B driver's license
- Have the legal right to work in the European Union
- Have a valid background check
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Exhibit flexibility
- Possess autonomy
- Be able to work effectively within a team
- Show commitment
- Possess a valid type rating on the Embraer E170/190 (preferred)
