Essential Pilot Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must strictly satisfy the following minimum criteria:
- Flight Experience: A minimum of 250 hours total flight time is required.
- Licensing: Possession of a current UK CAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and Multi-Engine (ME) qualification is mandatory.
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 2 Medical Certificate must be maintained.
- Language Proficiency: The pilot must hold a minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Candidates must demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of Air Operator Certificate (AOC) requirements.
- IT Skills: Basic proficiency in IT is essential, specifically experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
Highly Desirable Attributes
Candidates who currently hold a King Air Type Rating are strongly preferred and will be given preferential consideration during the selection process. Please note that type training will be provided should the successful applicant not possess this rating.
Operational and Location Requirements
The role demands a professional approach to scheduling and operational logistics:
- Rostering: A high degree of flexibility regarding rostering is required to ensure seamless, smooth day-to-day operational execution.
- Residency: Candidates must currently reside, or be willing to relocate, within a 60-minute commuting distance of the designated operational bases at either Bournemouth Airport or Bristol Airport.
- Right to Work: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. All applicants must possess the unrestricted legal right to live and work within the United Kingdom.
