Essential Applicant Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
Prospective candidates must strictly adhere to the following mandatory criteria:
- License and Certification: The applicant must hold a current and valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Applications from holders of both EASA and recognized ICAO licenses are welcomed.
- Type Rating: A current and valid Type Rating for the Airbus A320 aircraft is mandatory.
- Flight Experience: A minimum of 500 flight hours on the A320 type is preferred.
- Medical Standards: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP): Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
- Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree obtained from a four-year university is a prerequisite. A degree from an engineering faculty, aviation studies, or a field of study incorporating strong academic performance in physics and mathematics is highly desirable.
- Background Integrity: Candidates must possess a clean professional and legal record. This includes providing evidence of not having been involved in any aviation-related incident or accident, having no administrative penalties imposed by any Civil Aviation Authority, and possessing no criminal record or criminal archive history.
- Military Service (Where Applicable): Military service must be completed or officially deferred for a minimum period of two years.
