Aviation Recruitment Roadshow in Pakistan

The organization is specifically targeting qualified Pakistani Nationals for this undetermined period contract. The recruitment team will be hosting a dedicated assessment and selection roadshow in Karachi, Pakistan, on the 6th and 7th of November 2025.

Remuneration and Compensation Package (PKR)

This position offers a robust and highly attractive compensation structure, detailed below (all figures are in Pakistan Rupees - PKR):

1. Fixed Salary Structure and Experience Crediting

The total fixed salary is determined by the Captain’s accumulated civil commercial jet flying hours:

Boeing Experience Factor:

For salary slab determination, Captains and First Officers with prior Boeing experience will have their relevant Boeing flying hours factored, up to a maximum cap of 3,000 hours. Any Airbus family flying hours (A320/321/330) are added on top of the calculated Boeing experience.

2. Variable Flying Pay and Allowances

The variable flying pay is calculated based on credit block hours:

  • Duty Hour Pay: PKR 1,000 per actual duty hour (duration from Sign-in to Sign-out).
  • Night Flight Premium: Credit hours for night flights (Departure from 18:30 to 06:29 Local time) are paid at 1.3 times the credit block hour allowance. Day flights are paid at 1 time the allowance.
  • Compensation for Off-Days: If called for duty on a rostered day off, the Captain is compensated with PKR 12,000, in addition to the standard Flying Allowance.
  • End of Service Gratuity: For every 12 months of completed service, gratuity equivalent to one month's Fixed Gross Salary (including Fixed Flying Allowance) will be paid.

3. Monthly Allowances and Trainer Premiums

  • Captain Seniority Allowance: PKR 100,000 per month, effective from the anniversary date of joining, increasing annually up to a maximum cap of PKR 300,000 per month.
  • TRE/TRI Seniority Allowance: PKR 200,000 per month payable upon the anniversary date of the operational endorsement, increasing annually up to a maximum cap of PKR 600,000 for that specific endorsement.
  • Fuel Card: A pre-paid fuel card with a maximum expense limit of PKR 50,000 per month.
  • SIM Card: A post-paid SIM card with a maximum limit of PKR 5,000 per month.

Training Allowances for Examiners and Instructors:

Trainers conducting Line Training and/or Simulator Training sessions are entitled to additional allowances:

Note: These training allowances are in addition to the Flying Allowance and Duty Pay. Similar rates apply for Simulator / MFTD Training duties.

Unlimited Standby Tickets:

  • Married Employee: Unlimited standby tickets for self, spouse, children, and parents. Four standby sectors for only two nominated siblings.
  • Unmarried Employee: Unlimited standby tickets for self and parents. Four standby sectors for only two nominated siblings.

Annual Free Firm Ticket:

Employees are entitled to one annual free firm ticket on the Air Arabia / Fly Jinnah network upon completion of six months of service.

  • Married Employee: One yearly ticket for self, wife, and children (unlimited kids can be nominated).
  • Unmarried Employee: One yearly ticket for self, parents, and two nominated siblings.

MYID Travel Benefit:

Access to discounted tickets on other airlines via the MYID travel system is granted after 180 days of service for the employee, spouse, and children (below 23 years).

Minimum Candidate Qualifications and Experience

Prospective A320 Captains must strictly meet the following prerequisites to be considered for this high-profile position:

  • Must be a Pakistani National.
  • Maximum age at the time of application: 57 years.
  • Possession of a valid ATPL License.
  • Must hold a current and valid A320 Type Rating.
  • Minimum of 6,000 hours of total Civil Commercial Jet Operation experience.
  • A minimum of 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on the Airbus A320 series.
  • Demonstrated operational experience on Airbus aircraft within the last 12 months.
  • The A320 type rating and Instrument Rating (IR) must hold a minimum of 2 months validity upon joining.
  • Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) endorsement, Level 4 or above.
  • Current and valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
